Infrastructure is expensive, especially when deprecated, translating to high rider cost.
Public transit agencies are laden with expenses: employees, interest on loans, maintaining infrastructure, buying land. With our fares, we're fronting the bill.

Too Expensive for Everyone.
Workplaces are paying up to $1200 per employee, per month, on transportation shuttles - that's a $730 overpay, compared to a subsidized Hopbus transit system. While private shuttle networks leave companies with the whole bill, traditional ride-hailing does the opposite: commuters are left with a $350 overpay, on average.
Hopbus is cheap, and shares the bill.

Hosting cars is an expensive business, but so is renting them ("car-sharing").
Communities are paying more than the cost of a Hopbus transit program to host a fleet for residents to share. Residents are paying 2x to "share", too.
Apartment dwellers pay nearly the total of the car-share costs to own a car,
